Enhanced Ability to Prioritize, Clear Clutter, Achieve Goals
Most of us are overwhelmed. We don't see where we're doing well because putting out fires/handling the screaming emergencies seems to take all our time. Coaching makes a difference through these steps. First, we assess levels of satisfaction in various areas of your life. Then we can see where progress would make the biggest difference in your well-being and daily functioning. Based on that, we prioritize one or two areas of focus.
Often the next step involves clearing clutter. Most of us can't keep up with everything coming at us and end up burdened by backup papers, tasks, stuff in our way. Clutter of all kinds drains our energy and makes it harder to sustain progress. Coaching is an ideal support for clutter-clearing, as the coach is outside the disorganized accumulation and can help you clear your mind first so you'll know what to do with the material. You then feel lighter, freer to move.
From there, you and your coach strategize how to break a large goal down into small steps and make measurable progress day by day, week by week. You have a co-strategist when you run into problems and an ally who points out how you worked through them, celebrating with you as goals are achieved.
