| Mapping Your Journey: Writing for Transition and Change Weekend Writing Workshop with Carolyn Foster Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31, 2005 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. UC Extension Cupertino location Are you feeling the effects of change in your life? Writing can help clarify how you feel and how to respond to change and transition. Your identity and sense of purpose are not fixed but continue to develop throughout adulthood. Times of change, however, accentuate and accelerate the need to define who you are and what your life is about. By deepening self-understanding and focusing your energy, writing will help you continue to move toward your goals. In this weekend workshop, participants examine cycles of growth and learn how to use writing skills to manage life's transitions. In-class exercises offer guidelines for negotiating challenging circumstances with more grace and less stress. To find out more and to register, go to www.ucsc-extension.edu or call |
