While new technologies for communication proliferate, people continue to find writing a powerful tool for self-understanding and connection to others. Whatever the medium, sharing what we write can bridge cultural divides, relieve isolation, and generate possibilities for in-depth connection with others. This course will address these issues by creating a temporary community of writers who will use both traditional and high-tech writing modes for self-expression, dialogue, and discovery.
