REDESIGNING YOUR CAREER: When and How to Take the Plunge

Whether your impulse to redirect your work life is an occasional whisper or an urgent clarion call, you are probably caught between desire and dread. Doing what we know, even if it leads to burnout or boredom, conditions us to accept the familiar as inevitable. Yet people take the leap and go for subtle or radical career redesign every day. Using research into risk-taking, transition, and resilience, this workshop will teach you strategies to move from longing to wise, focused action. We will explore how to harness the psychological strengths and develop the practical skills that build clear thinking and courageous follow-through. Participants will take an online work-life inventory and use interactive exercises, writing, and discussion to follow their own signposts to fulfillment and professional success.
